Smooth shoe glad I switched back to Asics
great neutral fit soft sole running feels easy again. At 6' and 195lbs these are a great shoe for my casual runs 3 times/week at 9:30-10:30 min/miles. Much better feel than previous Hokas
So good these are the second pair purchased
These were a gift for my son. He loves the fit and comfort
Beautiful and comfortable
Great shoes. Beautifully crafted and designed. Very Comfortable.
Best sneakers Iāve ever owned.
Iāve never had more comfortable shoes. Itās like Iām running on a cloud.
Awesome
amazing comfortable max cushion shoes. on my 3rd pair
LOVE the Men's | ASICS Gel-Nimbus 25
Wow...this is the most comfortable gym shoe I've ever worn. I have back issues and I feel more comfortable IN this shoe than out of it. I use an elliptical machine daily and this provides support no foot pain (like every other shoe I've had) and super comfort. I ordered a few more to have them for a while. Easy to put on without untying and retying too. Get this shoe!
Pleasantly Surprised!
Very comfortable and supportive - love it equal or more than my HOKA Bondi!
Great for long runs
This is my second pair of Gel Nimbus 25 comfortable and soft they are great for long runs
Beat Hoka for cushioning
Can't beat the cushioning: just the thing to keep the knee surgeon off my case for restarting training runs after replacement surgery.
Will not buy again
Not a lot of support expected much better from ASICS
Best ASIC Gel
I've tried several of the Asics Gel types and the Nimbus 25 has been the most comfortable of them. I run a lot and the bounce doesn't ever seem to degrade over the hundreds of miles I put on these.
Asics gel Nimbus 25
Great fit. Going to the E-width and sizing down from 12.5 to a 12.0 fits perfect.Fantastic cushioning and stability. Extremely comfortable.Would buy again
Awesome Shoe
This shoe is the most comfortable shoe I have owned. I have had Hokas Brooks and On Cloud.
Wearable shoes
The shoes have very comfortable insoles. I have very hard to fit feet with arthritis. These shoes are the best ones I've found to accommodate my long and wide toes.
2 for running 4-5 for walking
I donāt have prior experience with ASICS doing my running primarily in NB 1080s but I wanted to give these a try. They feel great when walking and standing and for the first few miles of a run they are really nice too. However any more than 3-4 miles and they cause a burning in the sole of my feet. I also started experiencing anterior tibialis pain. I wear a wide size and to me these donāt give quite the room the NB 1080s. I plan to use the ASICS for casual walking as the discomfort issues donāt seem to present when walking at a casual pace and they are really comfortable for that activity.
An amazing shoe
Amazing cushion! No complaints after doing all my training in these and two marathons. I will say these are the only shoes that havenāt given me a weird ache/pain somewhere when I switched to them.
Great shoes. Super comfortable.
Great shoes. Have been using Gel-Cumulus and thought I'd try the Nimbus. Honestly I don't see any major difference other than some superficial things. In terms of performance they seem to be just as good as my Cumulus and I don't see anything significantly better or worse.
Soft and comfortable
Fits well and remains comfortable for miles and miles of walking.
Happy Feet
I have arthritis in my big toes and it is painful to walk. My podiatrist suggested i go to fleet feet and have a specialist fit me with walking shoes with the right support to help relieve some of the pain. Danielle at Turkey Creek FF did a great job finding the right shoe for me. I can now walk with much much less pain and most of the time no pain at all. After a week wearing this shoe I bought a second pair.
Cushion with a split sole
These shoes have a ton of cushion and my son loves them for XC but the sole split the night before his meet. The larger rubber sole at the front came apart. They are still wearable and still have great cushion but the sole is a goner.
60 yr old runner wants his old gel-nimbus back
The cushy feel is fine for short runs. But I'm training up for a longer fall race and my 10-12 mile Saturdays are not fun. I do not feel support in the mid-span. When my foot gets sweaty it starts sliding around and no bit of lace tightening fixes it resulting in toe pain and lost toenails with 12 weeks of training left. Gel-nimbus has been my most-worn shoe for 15 years but this one is a clunker
Short runs tall socks
Had high hopes for these given all of the hubbub but they fell short for me. Fit is true they are nicely cushioned and are great for easy runs. However they are equally heavy and I really start to feel them after about 6 miles. Worse is the sock/tab feature. The tab kept brushing against the back of my heel and gave me a blister. It's easy enough to fix with taller socks but I've never had that problem with any other shoe. Not worth the hype or price for me.
GARBAGE
The most disappointing Nimbus ever! Asics should not being chasing the soft spongy trend that Hoka has been very successful with. Hoka does it better. The new Nimbus 25 is the most unstable unbalanced marshmello I wish I had went with my gut when I tried it on but being brand loyal I thought I would get used to the new feel. I didn't in fact it has cause foot pain back leg hip and back pain. forget this years NImbus and hope that ASICS gets back to doing what they were doing best.
Review of Asics Gel-Nimbus 25
The Asics Gel-Nimbus 25 is an excellent max cushioned shoe! The fit is exceptional and the upper provides a comfortable lockdown. The midsole provides a cushioned ride for those medium and long miles in any training cycle. Iāve ran in wet conditions on pavement and found no slippage or sliding. The outsole is still holding up after 150 miles. The toe off is still bouncy and energetic and midsole still out of the box comfy! It is by far the most comfortable shoe Iāve trained in. I find that I can still pick up the pace a bit even though itās in the max cushioned category. Of course there will be lighter and faster shoes and others that have better gripping outsoles but in the max cushioned category the Gel-Nimbus 25ās provided me with best comfort and cushioned ride for my long runs. In the max cushioned categoryā¦definitely a 5! Iām using it for my first marathon in a few weeks! I have a carbon plated racing shoe but on my first marathonā¦going with comfort and fit!
Very quickly given.
Comfortable
Gel-nimbus 25
I have used the nimbus series for sometime. The 25ās are like wearing pillows on my feet. Very comfortable.
really comfortable!
I have some pain in both of my feet and these Nimbus sneakers are the most cushy comfortable sneakers I've ever owned!
ASICS Gel-Nimbus 25
Super comfortable shoes. Would absolutely love to give it a 5.... However I feel a difference between the left foot and the right foot when I walk. Kinda like I'm walking off-balance. Will try a few more times before returning if issue doesn't correct itself.
Asics
This shoe is in my top three it's comfortable way more comfort than I expected I will be buying another pair fleet feet always vomes through.
Spectacular Shoe
My favorite high cushion training shoe of all time. I have tried Hoka Nike and New Balance for years but this shoe might be my favorite of all time. I am a 8 minute/mile 20 mile a week runner and go outside and on the treadmill. Highly recommend.
