The Spring Run Club is designed for runners looking to ramp up their running after winter, fine tune their speed as we head into spring, or a group to stay consistent with their running throughout the year. We will complete a 10 week training program together with a goal of racing The Sea Dogs Mother’s Day 5k.
This group is open to beginners and veterans with weekly options to walk/run, run, or participate in a speed focused workout (typically 4-8 miles total distance). The program will take place every Wednesday evening at 5:30pm from March 6th to May 8th. We will also meet for a bonus 2 weekend longer runs during this program.
As part of the training program, participants will receive the following:
- A guaranteed entry into the Portland Sea Dogs 5k (Individuals are responsible for their registration fee).
- A 10 week training program and calendar with workouts.
- One (sometimes 2) structured in-person group coaching session a week. *12 in total with the 2 weekend sessions.
- Dedicated support and individual attention from your Coaches.
- Fun weekly informational topics on mobility, flexibility, strength training, shoe demos, and more.
- Sprin Run Group Running Hat
- The camaraderie of others like you with the same goal!
The cost of the program is $185.
