With Spring and more pleasant weather approaching, NOW is the time to make a plan to reach your personal health and fitness goals! Our Level I program is designed for individuals who have never run before, or who have not run in a very long time and want a structured introduction to get in shape without getting injured along the way.
Our twice weekly meetings start with very gentle group workouts combining walking and running. Your body is given ample time to adapt to running over the entire ten week period. There are never any stopwatches or timing, just a supportive and safe environment as we build to the goal of running 3.1 miles continuously.
In addition to our twice weekly group workouts, we will also provide you with suggested in-between class homework via our online Training Component, so in essence we are there for you with support & structure every day of the 10-weeks. This is ideal for folks that need to miss class due to existing commitments, allowing you to follow along and keep up with the class.
ALL of our classes are held outdoors and we run in the rain, snow, and whatever temperature mother nature throws our way, and we promise to make it fun!

When/Where: This class meets Wednesdays@7:00pm and Sundays@9:00am at the Grand Army Plaza entrance to Prospect Park starting March 29th and finishing June 4th. We will warm up to Prospect Park where the majority of our workouts will take place.
