Meet the Team:
Taylor was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. He swam competitively through college, until injuries made him leave the sport. At that point Taylor started to run, first training for the Denver Marathon, then the Dallas Marathon, and most recently the Big D Marathon. He has also raced half marathons and triathlons. Taylor currently lives in Colorado and is interested in ultra running, skiing, kayaking, and other outdoor adventures. Taylor brings over ten years of retail experience to the table. He started in running specialty with Run On! in 2012. After managing several of the Run On! stores in Texas, Taylor joined the Boulder Running Company team to lead the Colorado Springs market. Taylor loves what he does because he gets to work with a company that is centered around running and leading a healthy, active lifestyle and help patrons with this same passion.
Sadie grew up running the roads and trails of Michigan and now appreciates exploring the mountains in Colorado. She managed a running store on the east coast and coached couch to 5K training classes. She is now the assistant manager at Boulder Running Company in Colorado Springs. Sadie enjoys helping beginning runners discover a passion for running and guiding veteran runners on new experiences.
Jen is one of those awesome crazy gals who loves ultra mountain running. She completed her first 100 miler this past year at the Run Rabbit 100, and before that completed multiple other 50 mile and 50k races. On top of all that Jen has raced many road marathons, and been a part of the Ironman scene. Running started for Jen back in high school when she joined soccer and cross country. Jen just kept on running, building up the distance year after year. Jen's passion for running and fitness led her to the running specialty industry four years ago, and she has been a huge part of the running specialty community ever since. It doesn't stop there for Jen's involvement with running specialty, she has been a running coach for over twelve years, being a mentor for people training for their first 5K all the way up to their first 100 miler. When asked about work Jen said, "I am so thankful to call run specialty my job. It is a blast! It is the good life! I wish every runner happy healthy miles full of beauty and staying injury free!"
David found his love for running in the 50 yard dash when he was in the 1st grade. To him, it wasn’t really running; it was as close to flying as he could get. As he grew older, David found release while competing in track races in middle school which eventually led him to compete in high school. While running for Dakota Ridge high school, his relationship with running grew deeper when his coaches uncovered a hidden talent in the middle distances. Throughout the four years, David’s coaches (who both worked in running specialty) began to impart many hidden wisdoms learned through their own experiences in running. Hungry for more, David began spending time in the Boulder Running Company in Littleton Colorado to absorb every bit of running culture. Eventually, he found himself at UCCS running 10k Cross Country, the 3000m steeplechase, the 5000m, the 1500m in track. David says, “I prefer track intervals, hard hill workouts, and long tempo runs… others may prefer bamboo splinters under their fingernails, but to feel like I’m flying around the final turn brings me unparalleled joy.” David’s passion for inspiring others led him to pursue running specialty in 2011, after he himself was inspired by his coaches to run in college. Currently, David is a volunteer assistant coach for UCCS, and aspires to start his mountain running career with the Pikes Peak Ascent.

It sounds strange, but the perfect pair of running shorts should be practically un-noticeable as you wear them on the run, meaning they should have plenty of coverage, pockets, and most importantly, not chafe.
