Meet the Team:


Jules is an 800 meter runner planning to run sub 1:55. He loves helping customers find the right shoes and enjoys the euphoric look on their face when they find the right pair.


Johnathan is originally from Brooklyn, NY and has been with JackRabbit just under a year. Johnathan has been working in running specialty for 5+ years. His favorite running spots are Forest Park in Queens, Williamsburg bridge and trails trails trails. His goal Race: UTMB / WS100 and his favorite face run: ECSNY. His favorite Item to help customers with: footwear and recovery


Sarah is our Store Manager and she started running at the age of 19 when she was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. Joining the Jackrabbit team in October 2017 has only cemented her love of the running community and she hopes to run until she's 99 ½. Sarah likes to spend time running long distances with her rescue dog A-Ka, swimming in large bodies of water, and sleeping. She is super proud of the 72nd Street Jackrabbit Crew.

Weekly Group Runs

Thursday Run Club led by Coach Joelle. Every Thursday at 6:30pm we lead a short (3-5 miles) paced run through Central Park with dynamic strength building exercises and various interval training runs. The runners are often joined by special guests from various brands. All paces and skill levels welcome! 

Wednesday Kids Club led by Coach Jules. Every Wednesday 4:30pm-5:30pm we lead a half to 1 mile run for kids ages 9 (ish) through 14. Runs focus on stretching, strength, and recovery to help kids develop a love of running in a fun and non competitive atmosphere. Parents welcome to join, but must run an acceptable paparazzi distance behind us and pretend that they are not related. ��

Runner Recovery Yoga lead by Francis. Once a month on Sunday 9:30AM-10:30AM we explore recovery for runners through yoga. Francis walks participants of every skill level through a series of poses that both relax and open tight, tired muscles and allow runners to recover faster. Mats and towels provided. Limited capacity, please arrive 15 mins early and check our Facebook page for exact dates and times.
