Meet the Team:


Nyles is an 8 1/2 year veteran and USATF Running coach. Here at New York Running Company, Nyles is deemed the Master Jedi, shoe Guru, covering all areas of running product.


Jerode holds the distinction of being the longest tenured member of the New York Running Company staff, just over 13 years this past March, 2018. He has been running since 1978, and still runs and competes to this day. His hobbies include traveling, biking and reading. His racing exploits include an indoor mile in 4:50.1 just past his 42nd birthday.


Karlo has been working at JackRabbit since August 2017. He started running in 2011 for his high school’s cross country team. Today, Karlo competes in local NYC races for the Dashing Whippets Running Team. Karlo BQ'd in his first marathon. He has a half-marathon PR to his name of 1:13:03. Whether on the run or at work, you can always spot Karlo wearing his signature running cap. To fuel for his runs, Karlo enjoys a plain and simple freshly made baguette from bakeries around NYC.


Adalgisa Rivera, also known as Lisa, has been running since 2015. Lisa is a pacer with Harlem Run. She has completed a marathon in addition to many other races. Lisa recently learned to swim and bike. She completed the NYC TD 5 Borough Bike Tour and has future plans for a triathlon. Her hobbies include traveling, exploring the outdoors, and music.


Alex is from Long Island, New York. He started running in 2014. Alex completed his first half marathon in 2015 and has kept at it since then. Early in 2016 Alex began trail running and that has been his focus in addition to running ultras. Alex is the lead pacer for the Long Steady Distance Run that meets every Saturday at 8 AM. When Alex is not running he is creating art as a graphic designer.


Chaya is an Assistant Manager and avid Dancer. She is a veteran staff member. Chaya leads the popular "Crunch to Brunch Dance Class" and is a big fan of The Flash.


Natasha, also known as Tasha, is a mother of two amazing boys, and she LOVES to run. Tasha has 4 marathons under her belt. Running is her therapy - Tasha runs to refocus and reset her mind. Tasha's next goal is a Bike Tour. Tasha is a pacer with one of the best teams out there, Harlem Run! Tasha loves to see people laugh and smile. LOVE WINS. Fun Fact: Tasha enjoys taking pictures and dancing.


Iman is an Ultra Marathoner with a passion for the 50km distance. He is also a member of the Black Roses NYC; a running collective. His dedication to training the mind and body has allowed him to help others in the running community to achieve their goals. When he’s not training alongside other sub-elite athletes, he’s coaching athletes from the Mile Stylers, a run crew from The Bronx. Iman is our in store Personal Training Programs Coach. Lastly, Iman has one outlook on running, “Ask not what your body can do for you, but what you can do for your body.”

Weekly Group Runs

Monday 6:30 PM: Sexy Pace

Get your sexy pace on with Queen Justine. The pace is conversational, and the distance is 3-4 miles. We have bag drop and water for all runners. Don't be shy, come by and say hi!


Wednesday 6:30 PM: Wild Card Wednesday

Switch up your routine and join us every Wednesday for Wild Card Wednesday! A new week means a new route and a new workout after the run. Join us for a 3-4 mile run followed by a full body workout. We meet inside of New York Running Company at 6:30PM


Friday 7 AM: Morning Miles

Start your day off right and join us for Morning Miles. We meet every Friday at 7 am inside New York Running Company for a casual 4 to 5 mile run. We have multiple pacers and all paces are welcome. Lockers are available to store you belongings while on the run. See you there!


Saturday 8AM: LSD Run

Running Long this weekend? Lets run together! Join us Saturday mornings at 8AM for Long Steady Distance! We are running between 8 and 13 miles every week. So whether you are training for a 5k or up to a Marathon, join us every Saturday to get them in with company. We have multiple pace and distance groups and feature a new route every week. Free bag drop and refreshments provided after the run. See you there!
