Whatever your ability...we have the perfect program to fit your needs. All of our programs now meet three days per week and we'll provide a weekly training schedule for you to follow along the way. In addition, we’ll make up each and every route for you and provide you with coaching, hydration and energy supplements during the workouts.
SPOT ON Training Programs provide a fun, yet structured environment where you can accomplish your goals along with a group of like-minded people. Our philosophy provides a social atmosphere while bringing accountability, expertise and a sense of team to your efforts. Our programs are simply structured, but contain many layers to address all aspects of your training.
Our training is a team effort. Our coaches are not only leaders, but they are part of the team. We are here to provide you with direction, guidance and motivation. With a great coach to participant ratio, we will be there to get you through your workouts and to share our expertise with you along the way. When all of us are working together as a team, the result is you achieving your goals! SPOT ON training groups serve many athletes from simply crossing the finish line to Boston Qualifiers and everyone in between! It is our intent to provide coaching for all paces and abilities. During your first weeks of training we work with you to create a strategy that best suits you, your pace and your goals.
Your investment includes all planning, guidance and motivation from our coaching team, all nutrition and hydration supplements during our group training sessions, exclusive access to special events and discounts in-store and membership in our Run Rewards Program. You will also have the option to purchase a technical running top. Our programs include great discounts on races, convenient meet-up areas before and after races, and unique opportunities to try new products in our stores. Our social events, get-togethers and other fun activities will help you unwind and socialize with your team!

2017 FLYING PIG MARATHON AND HALF-MARATHON TRAINING
SpotOn Training – 2017 Flying Pig Marathon and Half-Marathon Training will begin on January 3, 2017! All groups meet on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. And on Saturday mornings at 7:30 a.m.
We also now offer another day to train with SPOT ON Training! Join us for a supported recovery run every Wednesday… giving you even more ways to enhance your training!
This program is open to athletes of all abilities, whether you are trying to set a PR or just trying to “finish” your first one.
- We suggest that someone participating in our Marathon Training Program be able to complete 6 miles when beginning the program and be able to start at approximately 15 miles per week in their training.
- We suggest that someone participating in our Half Marathon Training Program be able to complete 3 miles when beginning the program and be able to start at approximately 10 miles per week in their training.
- And with the Flying Pig course being open for 7 hours, we recommend any participant being able to maintain a 16 minute per mile pace. These guidelines will help to insure a successful program!
The cost of the 2017 Flying Pig Marathon and Half-Marathon Training Group starts at $125 (Race entry not included).
